That works out to an increase of 5,688 MT, or about 113.8 percent, over the February base. On a daily basis, the government said, average sales moved up to about 356 MT/day from about 177 MT/day in January-February, an increase of 179 MT/day, or about 101.1 percent.

Auto LPG consumption is not evenly spread across the country.
