Adani Energy Solutions incorporates new subsidiary for power transmission biz

Adani Energy Solutions has incorporated a wholly owned unit, Step-Sixteen Ltd, to undertake power transmission and related services

Ahmedabad: Adani Energy Solutions Limited (AESL) has incorporated a new wholly owned subsidiary, Adani Energy Solutions Step-Sixteen Limited, according to a regulatory filing made to the stock exchanges on Tuesday.

Incorporated for power transmission and related services

The company said the subsidiary has been formed to undertake transmission, distribution and supply of power, along with other related infrastructure services. AESL received the Ministry of Corporate Affairs’ intimation on the incorporation on August 12.

Capital structure and ownership

Adani Energy Solutions Step-Sixteen Limited has an authorised and paid-up share capital of Rs 1 lakh each. AESL will hold 100 percent of the equity, with the shares acquired at a face value of Rs 10 apiece. The subsidiary is yet to commence business operations.

The entity is classified under the electric utilities sector as a transmission service provider. It was incorporated in India and registered with the Registrar of Companies, Gujarat, at Ahmedabad on August 12, 2025.
