The shares were acquired in their entirety by Adani Infra (India) Ltd, another promoter group entity, at the same price, taking the transaction value to Rs 2,627.04 crore.

Following the transaction, Ardour Investment Holding's stake in Adani Power declined to 3.03 percent from 3.68 percent. Since the shares were transferred within the promoter group, the overall promoter holding in the company remains unchanged.

Shares of Adani Power ended 1.9 percent lower at Rs 209.95 on the NSE.

The latest deal marks the second promoter-level share transfer within the Adani Group in as many days.

On Monday, Adani Infra (India) Ltd acquired a 1.03 percent stake in Adani Green Energy Ltd from Ardour Investment Holding for Rs 2,380 crore through a similar block deal.

Earlier, in June 2026, Adani Infra had also purchased 2.15 crore shares, or a 1.31 percent stake, in Adani Green Energy from Ardour Investment Holding in a transaction valued at Rs 3,246 crore.

The series of intra-group stake transfers suggests an ongoing consolidation and reorganisation of promoter shareholding across key listed Adani companies. Such transactions, while not altering overall promoter ownership, are often undertaken to streamline holding structures, optimise capital allocation or align investments within group entities.
