BluPine Energy wins 150 MW project in SJVN’s FDRE auction

BluPine Energy has won 150 MW under SJVN Green Energy’s 1.5 GW firm and dispatchable renewable energy auction at Rs 6.75/kWh

Mumbai: BluPine Energy has secured 150 megawatt (MW) capacity under SJVN Green Energy Limited’s 1.5 gigawatt (GW) firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) auction, a landmark tender aimed at supplying assured peak-hour renewable power integrated with energy storage solutions. The project was awarded to Solarcraft Power India 16 Pvt Ltd, BluPine Energy’s special purpose vehicle, at a tariff of Rs 6.75 per unit.

To supply renewable power during peak hours

The awarded capacity will supply firm renewable power during 00:00–08:00 and 17:00–24:00 hours daily, supporting grid stability and helping utilities meet surging morning and evening demand through clean energy sources.

The project will operate under a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA), providing long-term revenue visibility for the company.

CEO says project strengthens dispatchable RE portfolio

“This win marks another milestone in BluPine Energy’s journey toward building a resilient and dispatchable renewable energy portfolio,” said Neerav Nanavaty, CEO, BluPine Energy. “As India transitions toward a 24x7 clean power future, projects like these will play a pivotal role in balancing the grid and ensuring reliability without compromising sustainability.”

Nanavaty added that BluPine Energy will focus on deploying proven technologies, robust storage integration, and operational excellence to deliver on its commitments.

Part of 4+ GW renewable portfolio target

The company said the win accelerates its ambition to develop over 4 GW of solar, wind, and hybrid projects by FY2027. With a growing pipeline of solar-wind-storage assets, BluPine Energy aims to strengthen its position as a key partner in India’s energy transition.
