New Delhi: KPI Green Energy Ltd has announced that it has received three Letters of Award (LoAs) from SJVN Ltd for developing a 200 MW (AC) solar power project at the GIPCL Renewable Energy Park in Khavda, Gujarat. The total contract value, excluding GST, stands at Rs 696.5 crore.

Scope of work covers EPC and O&M

The awards cover the full spectrum of Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) activities, along with long-term Operation and Maintenance (O&M) services. According to the filing, the supply of plant and equipment is valued at Rs 486.89 crore, while the erection, testing, commissioning, and civil works component amounts to Rs 178.27 crore. The O&M services are valued at Rs 31.34 crore and will run for three years from the date of commercial operation.

The company said the EPC portion will be executed as per the agreed project timeline, with the O&M phase commencing post commissioning.

Strengthening Khavda presence

The latest contract win adds to KPI Green’s growing footprint in Gujarat’s Khavda renewable energy cluster, where it is already executing 645 MWp of solar projects. With the new 200 MW (AC) award, the company’s total capacity under development at Khavda will exceed 845 MWp (DC).

KPI Green Energy said the win from SJVN — a central public sector undertaking jointly owned by the Government of India and the Government of Himachal Pradesh — reinforces its credentials as a reliable EPC and renewable power solutions provider.
