New Delhi: Servotech Renewable Power System Ltd has secured a 16 MW grid-connected rooftop solar project from Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd (MPUVNL), the company said in a statement on Tuesday. The project involves the solarisation of government buildings and offices across the state, with individual system sizes ranging from 1 kW to 500 kW.
As per the agreement, Servotech will undertake the design, supply, installation, and commissioning of the systems. The company will also provide a five-year warranty on the installations, ensuring uninterrupted solar power generation during that period.
The project has been awarded under the state government’s renewable energy programme, implemented through MPUVNL, which falls under the Department of New and Renewable Energy, Madhya Pradesh. It forms part of the state’s broader goal to expand clean energy adoption across public infrastructure.
Sarika Bhatia, Director at Servotech Renewable Power System Ltd, said, “This is a major leap forward for Servotech. We’ve already been working with many states’ Nodal agencies across the country, and we’re happy to step into Madhya Pradesh. This project aligns seamlessly with India’s national renewable energy targets and will help accelerate Madhya Pradesh’s clean energy transition by supporting the state government’s vision to solarise their infrastructure and build a more sustainable future. We’re honoured to contribute to this transformative journey of the state of Madhya Pradesh. This project strengthens our position, establishing us as a key player in improving India’s solar infrastructure.”
The company said this latest win further strengthens its standing as a trusted partner for large-scale government-backed renewable energy deployments.
The Madhya Pradesh rooftop project adds to Servotech’s growing clean energy portfolio. Apart from solar, the company is also involved in developing EV charging infrastructure, offering a range of AC and DC chargers for commercial and domestic use. It aims to play a significant role in supporting India’s clean mobility and energy infrastructure goals.
