Suzlon secures 838 MW order from Tata Power Renewable, its largest of FY26

Suzlon wins 838 MW order from Tata Power Renewable, its largest of FY26 and second-biggest ever, for FDRE projects across 3 states

EW Bureau

New Delhi: Suzlon Group on Tuesday said it has secured an 838 MW order from Tata Power Renewable Energy, marking its largest order of the current fiscal year as part of a firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) project. This order is also Suzlon's second-largest ever, after the 1,544 MW order from NTPC Green Energy, and demonstrates the growing role of FDRE projects in India’s energy transition, the company said in a statement.

Project spread across three states

The 838 MW project will involve 266 of Suzlon’s S144 wind turbines, each with a rated capacity of 3.15 MW. These will be strategically located across Karnataka (302 MW), Maharashtra (271 MW), and Tamil Nadu (265 MW).

The project is part of the FDRE bids awarded to SJVN and NTPC.
