Juniper Green Energy has commissioned a 5 MW wind turbine it claims is India's largest so far by rotor diameter, at 181 metres

New Delhi: Renewable energy firm Juniper Green Energy has commissioned a 5 MW wind turbine project, which it claims is the largest turbine installed in India to date in terms of rotor diameter, the company said on Wednesday.

The turbine is built around the EN-182 wind turbine generator, carrying a capacity of 5 MW and a rotor diameter of 181 metres, according to Juniper Green Energy.
