New Delhi: In a move aimed at improving India’s auto fuel customer experience, Adani Total Gas Limited (ATGL) and Jio-bp, the fuel retail joint venture of Reliance Industries and bp, on Wednesday announced a strategic partnership to offer each other’s fuel products at select stations across the country.

Under the agreement, Jio-bp’s high-performance liquid fuels (petrol and diesel) will be available at select ATGL fuel stations, while ATGL’s CNG dispensing units will be installed at select Jio-bp outlets located within ATGL’s authorised geographical areas. The arrangement applies to both existing and future outlets operated by the two companies.

Dual-network fuel synergy

“This partnership will enable us to leverage each other’s infrastructure, thus enhancing customer experience and offerings,” said Suresh P Manglani, Executive Director and CEO of Adani Total Gas Ltd.

ATGL, a joint venture between Adani Group and TotalEnergies, operates a network of around 650 CNG stations, and provides natural gas to residential, industrial, commercial, and transportation customers. It is also active in segments like Compressed Biogas (CBG), EV charging, and LNG for transport.

Jio-bp, meanwhile, operates a network of about 2,000 fuel retail outlets and focuses on fuel retailing, low-carbon mobility, and modern convenience formats. The company is a 50:50 joint venture between Reliance Industries Ltd and bp.
