ONGC confirmed that there was no fire or injury to any personnel, and the situation is now fully under control. Reinforcement teams and technical specialists are being mobilised to ensure the safe and swift normalization of operations at the well. “ONGC is confident that the situation will be brought back to normal very soon,” the statement said. The company has initiated a detailed investigation to determine the root cause of the incident.
