The company said in a statement issued on Monday that the co-located events will focus on advancing renewable generation, battery technologies and energy storage solutions under the theme “Decoding Pathways to Achieve Net Zero.” Together, they are expected to feature over 700 exhibitors, 1,000 brands, 55,000 trade visitors, and 250 thought leaders from across the global renewable and storage ecosystem.
According to Informa Markets, REI 2025 will showcase a full spectrum of renewable energy technologies, including solar, wind, biomass, inverters, and EV charging solutions. Meanwhile, TBSI 2025 will feature over 350 exhibitors and 400 brands focused on advanced battery manufacturing, energy storage, and mobility solutions.
The event will see participation from major industry players such as Reliance, Adani Solar, Vikram Solar, Waaree, Havells, and Goldi Solar. International participation will include country pavilions from China, Japan, Korea, Germany, Belgium, and others supported by the European Union’s Cluster Collaboration Platform.
The government of Odisha has joined as a State Partner, while the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) is supporting a dedicated Bio Energy Pavilion with 65 companies.
Yogesh Mudras, Managing Director of Informa Markets in India, said the expo reflects India’s journey toward energy independence and sustainability.
“Renewable Energy India 2025 reflects the pulse of a nation firmly steering toward energy independence and sustainability. With 242.8 GW of non-fossil fuel capacity, including 233.99 GW from renewables, India now derives over half of its total power generation from clean sources, a milestone that places the country among the world’s foremost green energy champions,” he said.
Mudras added that the concurrent Battery Show India complements this vision by strengthening the dialogue around energy storage and mobility — key pillars of the renewable value chain.
The statement said REI and TBSI 2025 will feature over 26 conference sessions and high-level forums, including the Energy Storage Summit India (ESS India), CEO/CXO Conclave, CTO Forum, and the REI Awards. Discussions will explore themes such as battery energy storage financing models, localisation strategies, second-life battery applications, and pathways to achieving India’s net-zero goals.

The expos come at a time when India is projected to invest over USD 360 billion in renewable energy and infrastructure by 2030. Having tripled its installed renewable capacity from 76 GW in 2014 to over 226 GW in 2025, India is emerging as a global leader in the transition to clean energy.
The events, Informa Markets said, will serve as a platform for collaboration, partnerships, and investments shaping India’s renewable, storage, and electric mobility ecosystem.
