

New Delhi: ACME Marigold Urja Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of ACME Solar Holdings Ltd, has executed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) for a 130 MW round-the-clock renewable energy project at a tariff of Rs 4.35 per kWh. The company disclosed the execution in a filing to the stock exchanges on Wednesday.

The filing states that ACME Marigold Urja "has executed a Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) with Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) to set up a 130 MW Round the clock (RTC) renewable energy power project."
The annexure to the filing names two separate entities in the transaction. Against the entity awarding the contract, it records "Awarded by: REMC Limited." Against the counterparty to the agreement, it records "Agreement / PPA Signed with - Northeast Frontier Railway."
The order is classified as domestic, and the nature of the contract is recorded as a "Power Purchase Agreement."
On the size and consideration, the filing states: "Size of the project – 130 MW, at a tariff of Rs. 4.35 per kWh applicable for each year during PPA tenure."

The scheduled commencement of supply date (SCSD) is recorded as February 25, 2029, with the "Project tenure – 25 years from the date of SCSD."
