New Delhi: ACME Platinum Urja Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of ACME Solar Holdings Limited, has executed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with SECI Limited for a 200 MW solar project with an integrated 100 MW/400 MWh energy storage system, the company said in a regulatory filing.

The PPA has been signed at a tariff of Rs 3.42 per unit. The project carries a tenure of 25 years from the date of signing. ACME said the agreement covers supply during solar hours and the evening peak, aligned with the buying entity’s scheduling requirements.

Project scheduled for commissioning by June 2027

The company stated that the scheduled commercial operation date is June 30, 2027. The project requires ACME to achieve an annual Capacity Utilisation Factor (CUF) of 25–27 percent during solar hours, with minimum availability of 70 percent on a monthly basis and 85 percent annually during peak hours. The project is expected to benefit from connectivity approvals already in place.

This PPA follows the tariff adoption by the Central Regulator and procurement approval by the State Regulator. SECI had awarded ACME 350 MW in July 2024, of which 150 MW had already been tied up under a PPA signed in October 2024. The latest agreement brings the entire capacity under PPA.
