New Delhi: ACME Solar Holdings Limited on Friday said it has secured a 301 MW/1,204 MWh assured peak supply project under the SECI FDRE-VII tender, following an e-reverse auction conducted on February 5, 2026. The win takes ACME Solar Holdings Limited’s total contracted renewable energy portfolio to 8,071 MW, spanning solar, wind, storage, hybrid, firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) and round-the-clock (RTC) solutions.

The formal letter of award is expected shortly, the company said.

Non-solar hour supply with storage integration

Under the terms of the bid, ACME Solar will be required to supply 4 MWh per MW of contracted capacity for any four hours each day during non-solar hours, while maintaining 70% availability on a monthly basis and 85% annually.

The project will be executed using a combination of solar power and battery energy storage systems (BESS) to meet assured peak supply requirements. The company said the project will leverage its existing night-time grid connectivity.

The FDRE-VII tender was conducted by Solar Energy Corporation of India.

Storage, hybrid solutions anchor growth strategy

Following the FDRE-VII allocation, ACME Solar’s contracted capacity includes 2,962 MW operational projects and 5,109 MW under construction, incorporating nearly 17 GWh of BESS installations, according to the company.

The under-construction portfolio with signed power purchase agreements stands at 2,668 MW.

End-to-end execution model

ACME Solar said its in-house engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) and operations and maintenance (O&M) capabilities enable end-to-end project delivery.

“With an in-house EPC and O&M division, the company does end-to-end development and O&M of the plants, thereby delivering projects in a time- and cost-effective manner while ensuring best-in-class operating performance,” it said, pointing to industry-leading capacity utilisation factors and operating margins.
