New Delhi: Hindustan Power said on Thursday it has been awarded a 100-megawatt solar power project by Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL), following a tariff-based competitive bidding process and a subsequent e-reverse auction. “Hindustan Power has secured a 100 MW AC (alternating current) solar power project from Punjab State Power Corporation Limited, to be developed in Punjab,” the company said in a statement.

25-year PPA to underpin revenue visibility

As part of the agreement, the company will sign a long-term power purchase agreement with PSPCL for a duration of 25 years. The arrangement is expected to ensure stable revenue streams while contributing to the supply of clean energy within the state.
