Waaree Renewable wins Rs 102.75-cr EPC order for 25 MWac solar project

New Delhi: Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited on Wednesday informed stock exchanges that it has received a letter of award (LoA) for executing engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) works for a ground-mounted solar power project of 25 MWac/35 MWp on a turnkey basis, along with evacuation infrastructure of 50 MW.

“We are pleased to inform that ‘WAAREERTL’ has been awarded Letter of Award (LOA) for the execution of Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) works of Ground Mounted Solar Power Project of 25MWac/35MWp on a turnkey basis along with Evacuation Infrastructure of 50MW,” the company said in the filing.

Order value pegged at about Rs 102.75 crore

According to details provided in the annexure to the filing, the order value is approximately Rs 102.75 crore, excluding taxes. The project has been awarded by a domestic entity described as “one of the largest manufacturers of pig iron and castings & seamless tubes,” the company said.

The nature of the order is commercial, and the aggregate project size stands at 25 MWac/35 MWp. Waaree Renewable also clarified that the order does not fall under related party transactions and that neither the promoter nor promoter group has any interest in the awarding entity.

Project completion targeted in FY27

The company said it received intimation of the LoA on January 13, 2026, at 5:23 pm IST. As per the terms of the order, the solar project is scheduled to be completed during the 2026–27 financial year.
