New Delhi: KPI Green Energy Limited has announced the incorporation of a new Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV), named KPIN Clean Power Four LLP, to develop and operate renewable energy projects in India. The incorporation was approved by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs on July 8, 2025, the company said in a regulatory filing to the BSE and NSE on Tuesday.

The SPV has been set up with an initial capital contribution of Rs 1 lakh — Rs 99,000 by KPI Green Energy and Rs 1,000 by its wholly-owned subsidiary, KPark Sunbeat Private Limited.

The objective of the SPV is to generate, develop, transmit, and supply power using wind, solar, and other renewable sources of energy. KPI Green clarified that this incorporation does not constitute a related party transaction, and no governmental or regulatory approvals were required for the formation of the SPV.

KPIN Clean Power Four LLP has been registered with the Registrar of Companies in Ahmedabad. The move aligns with KPI Green’s broader strategy of scaling up its renewable energy footprint through SPVs, especially in the independent power producer (IPP) segment.
