Servotech bags 2.58 MW solar rooftop project from South Eastern Railway

Servotech Renewable Power Systems has secured a 2.58 MW rooftop solar project from South Eastern Railway’s Ranchi Division

New Delhi: Servotech Renewable Power Systems Ltd announced on Monday that it has won a 2.58 megawatt (MW) grid-connected rooftop solar project from the South Eastern Railway’s Ranchi Division. According to a statement, the scope of work includes design, manufacturing, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the solar photovoltaic (PV) system across multiple locations under the Ranchi Division.

The contract aligns with Indian Railways’ sustainability strategy and its broader goal of achieving net-zero carbon emissions through renewable energy adoption.

Project reinforces trust in Servotech: Director

Sarika Bhatia, Director of Servotech Renewable Power Systems, said the project reinforces the Railways’ trust in the company’s execution capabilities. “We are honoured to once again work with the Indian Railways in their journey toward a cleaner and more sustainable future. This project further reinforces the trust that Indian Railways has placed in Servotech Renewable’s expertise and execution capabilities,” Bhatia said.

Strengthening Servotech’s clean-energy portfolio

The company said the award underlines its growing leadership in India’s clean-energy segment and expands its portfolio of solar projects executed for public-sector clients. Servotech added that it remains committed to leveraging high-performance solar technology to help institutions meet sustainability targets.
