New Delhi: KPI Green Energy Limited has received fresh orders from Adani Group entities for execution of electrical, civil and allied works for a 300 MWac / 405 MWdc project at the Khavda Hybrid Renewable Power Project in Gujarat, the company said in a regulatory filing to the stock exchanges on Tuesday.

“KPI Green Energy Limited has received orders from Adani Group entities for execution of electrical, civil and allied work for a 300 MWac / 405 MWdc project at the Khavda Hybrid Renewable Power Project, Renewable Energy Park, Khavda, Kutch, Gujarat,” the company said.

Scope covers electrical, civil works and equipment supply

According to the filing, the scope of work includes execution of electrical AC–DC works and civil works such as pile foundation and installation activities, along with equipment supply excluding main equipment.

“The scope of work, inter alia, includes execution of electrical AC–DC works, civil works comprising pile foundation, installation of stubs, erection of module mounting structures, modules, robotic cleaning system structures and IDT stations,” KPI Green Energy said, adding that this also includes “supply of electrical DC/AC & HT equipment (other than main equipment).”

The orders comprise service orders and a purchase order, to be executed as per timelines specified by the customers, the company told the bourses.

Aggregate Adani-linked orders rise to 834 MWac

With the latest orders, KPI Green Energy said its total order book from Adani Group entities linked to the Khavda projects has expanded further. “With receipt of these Service Orders and Purchase Order, the aggregate orders received by the Company from Adani Group entities in relation to the Khavda projects now stand at 834 MWac / 1,131 MWdc,” the company said.

This includes a 534 MWac / 726 MWdc order that the company had earlier disclosed to the stock exchanges on January 16.

Execution to be phased, aligned with company strategy

KPI Green Energy said the execution of the newly awarded works will be carried out in a phased manner in line with contractual timelines.

“These orders further reflect the Company’s continued engagement as a trusted execution partner for large-scale utility renewable energy projects,” the filing said, adding that the work aligns with its strategy to strengthen execution capabilities across large renewable energy developments.

The company also clarified that the orders are domestic in nature and do not fall under related party transactions.
