New Delhi: Servotech Renewable Power System Ltd has secured a Rs 16.31-crore contract from Railway Energy Management Company Ltd (REMCL) to develop a mix of ground-mounted and rooftop on-grid solar installations at the Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Ltd (DFCCIL) complex in Noida.

10-year O&M included

The company said it will undertake the complete design, engineering, supply, installation, testing and commissioning for systems of multiple capacities across the DFCCIL site. The project also includes 10 years of comprehensive operations and maintenance.

According to Servotech, the order strengthens its presence in the fast-expanding renewable energy footprint of India’s railway and logistics infrastructure.

Supports decarbonisation goals

The solar systems, REMCL said, will help reduce dependence on conventional power sources, optimise energy costs and support the integration of renewable energy into DFCCIL’s core operational infrastructure.
