New Delhi: Vikram Solar has won a 250 megawatt (MW) solar module supply order from Bondada Group for a renewable energy project in Maharashtra, the company said in a statement issued Monday. The value of the order was not disclosed. The Kolkata-headquartered company will supply its advanced N-Type solar PV modules, which are known for high performance and superior energy output. Delivery is scheduled to begin in financial year 2025-26.

Boost to Maharashtra’s clean energy goals

According to Vikram Solar, the modules will be deployed for a project in Maharashtra and are expected to contribute meaningfully to the state’s renewable energy capacity, reduce carbon emissions, and support its sustainability goals.

“This order further cements Vikram Solar’s position as a top-tier manufacturer listed in India’s Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM),” the company said.

The order also aligns with the company’s strategy of supporting India’s renewable energy ambitions through technological innovation and expanded manufacturing capacity. As of FY25, Vikram Solar has a cumulative production capacity of 4.5 gigawatts (GW).
