New Delhi: Suzlon Energy Limited has won a 250 MW wind order from Torrent Green Energy, taking its cumulative business with the Torrent Group to 1,306 MW. The order is the sixth Suzlon has received from the group, said the company in a statement on Tuesday.

Suzlon will supply 76 S144 wind turbines of 3.3 MW each. The scope also covers grid integration and long-term operations and maintenance services, which the company refers to as AMS.
The partnership now runs across Gujarat, Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh. Suzlon said it has secured 1.1 GW of new orders in FY27 so far, a figure that includes this order.
Girish Tanti, Vice Chairman, Suzlon Group, said, "For us, the true measure of success is not a single order, but partnerships that endure and grow over time." He added that Torrent Green Energy "has been one of our most valued partners for over a decade, and we are honoured that this relationship has grown into one of Suzlon's largest customer partnerships."
Ajay Kapur, Chief Executive Officer, Suzlon Group, said, "Customer confidence continues to be our biggest strength, which is reflected in 1.1 GW of new orders we've secured in FY27. This order further strengthens our presence in Madhya Pradesh, which is emerging as an important growth market for wind energy in India."

Suzlon put its FY26 revenues at more than USD 1.75 billion and its market capitalisation at more than USD 8.0 billion as of June 30, according to the statement. The company said it has 22,000 MW of wind energy capacity installed across 17 countries. Suzlon is headquartered in Pune.
